Philabundance: Sharing the Harvest

This morning we drove to Rose Tree Community Gardens in Media, PA to donate extra cherry tomatoes and yellow crookneck summer squash from our garden to Philabundance’s Share the Harvest program. The hunger-relief organization accepts surplus produce from local gardens at seven drop off locations in the Philadelphia area, and distributes the food to area food banks, soup kitchens, and Philabundance’s Community Kitchen program.
